on monday, memorial day, sir matthew tisdale departed washington, dc for the california coast. it was a sad day for those of us left behind, but i am happy knowing that matthew has gone some place better (san francisco). matthew was the first friend i made at GW and his friendship over the years has helped sustain me in good times and bad.

i wish him all the best in san francisco. say hi to jerry for me.
